The course curriculum will lay down the foundation of how to master the cards, giving you the necessary tools to build your confidence when reading for yourself and others. How Does it Work?

TameTarot is a 12- week course that will teach you the Traditional Rider Waite Smith tarot deck. Together, we will cover all major and minor arcana cards in the upright and reversed position. You will adopt your own style of reading, shuffling technique, card spread and learn how to deliver a channeled message. You will have access to the course content to refer back to, receive personal feedback from me and be a part of an encouraging community of like minded individuals. 

The next round begins on January 15, 2024.

Live Lessons Mondays

Students attend live lessons taught by Crystal on Monday nights at 5PM mst. Each session will be recorded and available after each class.

Hands on Practice Thursdays

Thursday nights will focus on what we have learned and put it to practice. We meet every week to discuss questions, receive feedback and give accountability.

Slack community group

Live sessions recorded and available in a private Slack community. This includes guidebooks and a space for students to ask questions, get feedback, and network.

Course Curriculum

  • You will learn the history of tarot and the importance of implementing a ritualistic practice in your everyday life. Introducing all 78 tarot card energies and the story of The Fool's Journey.

  • We will break down The Fool's Journey covering the first eight major arcana cards in the tarot deck The Fool to The Chariot. The eight cards that are centered on "self" and learning what lesson each symbolic figure has to offer us internally.

  • As The Fool encounters the next seven major arcana cards, Strength to Temperance, we will learn all about “reality”. These archetypes help guide us in the external world in addition to understanding it.

  • The Fool's Journey comes to an end with the last seven major arcana cards, The Devil to The World focuses on "the divine". Teaching us how the universe and divine work together both internally and externally in our lives.

  • Transitioning into the minor arcana of the tarot deck we are introduced to the four suits one at a time. Beginning with the suit of wands, representing the elemental energy of fire, all fire signs (Aries/Leo/Sagittarius) and timeframe of days. The suit of wands represents all things passion, energy, enthusiasm, and sexuality. It is a masculine element and reflects the drive and willpower of the masculine energy.

  • To follow is the suit of swords, representing the elemental energy of air, all air signs (Gemini/Libra/Aquarius) and timeframe of weeks. The suit of swords represents all things knowledge, action, power, and change. It is a masculine energy that can lead by force and power, even though it remains unseen.

  • The third suit introduced is the suit of cups, representing the elemental energy of water, all water signs (Cancer/Pisces/Scorpio) and the timeframe of months. The suit of cups represents all things fluidity, feelings and emotions, intuition, relationships, healing, and cleansing. It is a feminine element and reflects the subtle power that often resides within women.

  • Finishing the four suits in the tarot deck, the suit of pentacles. Representing the elemental energy of earth, all earth signs (Taurus/Capricorn/Virgo) and the timeframe of years. The suit of pentacles represents all things tactile, earthy and tangible. It is a feminine element that is receptive – it takes in nutrients and sunrays and then uses this energy to sustain the life that grows out of it.

  • Combining everything we have about all 78 cards, we learn how to handle your own deck. How to shuffle five different ways and learn four different card spreads. With these you will adopt your own style.

  • This week using your shuffling technique and card spread you will learn how to channel a message. Tapping into your intuition more intentionally. You will learn how to interpret the cards not only based on meaning but intuitively feeling confident to deliver the message to yourself and for others.

  • Mastering Tarot takes time and lots of practice in trusting yourself. TameTarot will provide you with strategies to manage your knowledge and skills long term. Whether you are a beginner, reading for family and friends or an expert looking to advance your career. Mastering Tarot means creating a consistent practice for long-term success.

  • You have completed the journey of learning all 78 cards. Congratulations! Now is the time to reflect on how you want to live a tarot lifestyle.

My curiosity for tarot grew after a few TikTok readings popped up on my for you page and resonated. In a time of my life where I was questioning my Christian beliefs, spiritual gifts and the hollering of my heart that wanted to help others. When I started to listen to that inner tug, things felt more aligned. I was given my first tarot deck. From there I picked my first tarot book, watched other professionals read and went to work! I threw myself in the deep end and taught myself everything I know. Today, I have been reading tarot for individuals over the past three years across the United States online and in person. Now, I am more than ready to extend that enlightenment with all of you.
As a teacher for the past six years with a bachelor's degree in Linguistics, I have naturally created a curriculum in more ways than one. I am more than confident on how to structure our time together with such hybrid, immersive content, deliver the material in an understandable way and challenge your comfort zone to set you up for future success. all the times I knew I had something to offer others but didnt’t know what.

There have been many times in my life I had questions but hardly any answers too. Like do I move or do I stay? Is this person good for me or should I let them go? It is inspired when tarot was introduced into my life giving me those answers, peace and guidance. Allowing me to trust myself more to make decisions of my own, find introspection or even tap into my intuition on a deeper level. I realized I wanted to give that peace and guidance back to others in similar situations. I felt ready to leave my 9-5 teaching job and start teaching what I have always been passionate about - tarot. I knew that this was my calling as I found many of my clients wanting to learn all the parts of a tarot deck so I went to work!
